On or about Tuesday, December 28th, 2021, around 5:38 in the afternoon, an accident between a motorcycle and an ambulance sent one individual to the hospital. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Interstate 45 near the exchange with West Dallas Street in Houston, Texas.
Law enforcement spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a motorcycle they were on allegedly struck the back of an ambulance along I-45. Paramedics transported the driver of the motorcycle to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from downtown Houston.
Officers are still working to pin down all the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
