On or about Thursday, May 26th, 2022, around 8:30 at night, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle sent one person to the hospital. Officers from local law enforcement said the accident was reported at the intersection of 82nd Street and Upland Avenue in Lubbock, Texas.
Officers from the Lubbock Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the motorcycle they were on allegedly ran a red light and hit an SUV at 82nd and Upland. Emergency responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of 82nd Street and Upland Avenue is on the southwest side of Lubbock.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
