On or about Wednesday, September 18th, 2021, an accident between a school bus and a pedestrian sent a 20-year-old man to the hospital. Investigators from the area said the accident was reported along Highway 26 just outside of Minatare in Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska.
Deputies from the Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when he was allegedly hit by a school bus as he was walking alongside or attempting to cross Highway 26. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance east of Minatare, which is situated about 445 miles west of Omaha.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
