Details:
On or about Tuesday, November 16th, 2021, around 9:00 in the morning, a single-vehicle school bus accident sent one individual to the hospital. Troopers from the DPS said the accident was reported along the southbound TEXpress lanes of Interstate 35 in Lewisville, Texas.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified school bus driver was injured when the bus crashed into a barrier on the southbound I-35 TEXpress lanes. Emergency responders transported the driver of the bus to nearby Medical City Lewisville with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 35 runs north and south through Lewisville, which is about 26 miles north of downtown Dallas.
Police are still investigating.
