On or about Monday, March 28th, 2022, around 12:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a pedestrian and a school bus sent one person to the hospital. Law enforcement representatives from the area said the accident was reported in Merrick on Long Island, New York.
Police officers from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when they were allegedly hit by a school bus that drove off the side of Merrick Avenue and struck a building. Paramedics transported the pedestrian to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the south side of Long Island.
