On or about Tuesday, February 15th ,2022, around 1:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a pedestrian and a Sun Trans bus left one person injured. Authorities from the ASP said the accident was reported along North Oracle Road in Tucson, Arizona.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was killed when they were allegedly hit by a passing Sun Trans bus as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of North Oracle Road. Paramedics treated the pedestrian for unspecified injuries stemming from the accident, but it is not immediately clear if they were treated at the scene or if they were taken to a nearby hospital.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated on the north side of Tucson.
Authorities are still investigating.
