Details:
On or about Sunday, November 21st, 2021, around 3:00 in the morning, an accident between a two passenger vehicles a woman to the hospital with serious injuries. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported on the Northeast Loop 410 Access Road near the intersection with Austin Highway in San Antonio, Texas.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified woman was injured the Lexus she was riding in allegedly struck the back of another car in the westbound lanes of the NE Loop 410 Access Road. Emergency responders transported the passenger of the Lexus to a nearby hospital where she was last reported in critical condition by medical staff. Neither drivers were transported to the hospital.
Authorities said they expect to charge the driver of the Lexus with Driving While Intoxicated in connection with the accident.
Officials are still investigating.
