On or about Tuesday, November 30th, 2021, around 2:45 in the morning, a major accident between a tanker truck and an SUV sent at least one individual to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Loop 12 near the exchange with Walton Walker Boulevard in Dallas, Texas.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a tanker truck and an SUV collided under unspecified circumstances on southbound Loop 12. After the initial collision, the tanker truck nearly crashed off the side of an overpass. Paramedics transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the Irving/Dallas line, about 12 miles west of downtown Dallas.
