Details:
On or about Wednesday, January 13th, 2021, an accident between three cars and a large tow truck sent one individual to the hospital. Local police said the accident happened on Sunrise Highway near the intersection with Reyam Road in Lynbrook, New York.
Spokespeople from the NYSP said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when their Chevrolet Corvette was hit by large tow truck. After the initial collision, the tow truck pinned the Corvette against a nearby tree. Emergency responders cut the victim from the wreckage and rushed them to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Sunrise Highway cuts east and west through the center of Lynbrook, which is located on the south side of Long Island.
Multiple agencies are investigating the accident.
