On or about Thursday, February 4th, 2021, around 11:00 in the morning, an accident between a van and a tractor-trailer sent one individual to the hospital. Authorities said the accident was reported at the intersection of 13th Street and Elm Avenue in Norfolk, Nebraska.
Police spokespeople said a tractor-trailer allegedly collided with a van under unspecified circumstances at the intersection. Paramedics transported one person from the van to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the crash. One other person in the van was uninjured.
Google Streetview shows Elm Avenue runs east and west while 13th Street runs north and south. Only Elm Avenue has a stop sign at the intersection.
Police are still investigating the collision.
