On or about Friday, March 18th, 2022, around 4:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a passenger vehicle, an SUV, and a tractor-trailer left one person injured. Troopers from the MSHP said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of 20th Street and County Club Drive in Joplin, Missouri.
Investigators from the Missouri State Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the passenger vehicle they were in, a tractor-trailer, and an SUV collided in a chain-reaction accident at 20th and County Club. Paramedics transported the driver of the passenger vehicle to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of 20th Street and County Club Drive is on the west side of Joplin.
Police are still investigating the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
