Details:
On or about Sunday, November 22nd, around 3:15 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car left a woman with injuries. Sheriff’s Deputies said the accident happened on the northbound side of Interstate 35 near Post Oak Drive in Denton, Texas.
Investigators said an as-of-yet unidentified woman was injured when her car and an 18-wheeler collided under unspecified circumstances. The victim’s car was allegedly pinned beneath the trailer of the truck after the crash. Paramedics freed the woman from the wreckage and treated her for minor injuries. It is not clear if she was taken to the hospital or treated at the scene.
Google Maps shows Interstate 35 is eight lanes in the area, with a concrete barrier dividing north and southbound traffic. Denton is located about 40 miles northwest of Dallas.
Texas DPS and local authorities are investigating.
