On or about Wednesday, January 13th, 2021, around 10:30 in the evening, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck sent one person to the hospital. Police indicated the accident was reported near the intersection of Southeast 53rd Street and Southwest Topeka Boulevard in Topeka, Kansas.
Police indicated one as-of-yet unidentified person was taken to the hospital after a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler collided under unknown conditions while driving at or near the intersection. At least one person was transported from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
