Details:
On or about Friday, October 29th, 2021, around 4:00 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle sent one individual to the hospital. Deputies from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Las Vegas Boulevard near the exchange with Interstate 15 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was rushed to the hospital when the car they were in allegedly collided with a tractor-trailer that was in the middle of attempting a U-turn on Las Vegas Boulevard. Emergency responders transported one person from the car to a nearby hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their initial statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, Las Vegas Boulevard runs north and south into Las Vegas, with the scene of the accident not far from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Police are still investigating.
