On or about Saturday, April 3rd, 2021, around 4:43 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a cyclist sent one person to the hospital. Troopers from the OSHP said the accident happened near the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and East Weber Road in Columbus, Ohio.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified cyclist was injured when they were allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer before the truck fled the scene. Paramedics transported the cyclist to Riverside Methodist Hospital where they were last reported in stable condition by medical staff.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated in the North Linden area of Columbus.
Officials are still working to track down a white tractor-trailer in connection with the incident.
