On or about Wednesday, June 29th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, an accident between two tractor-trailers sent one person to the hospital. Troopers from the KSP said the accident was reported along U.S. Highway 160 in Winfield, Kansas.
Spokespeople from the Kansas Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was inured when two tractor-trailers collided under unspecified circumstances along Highway 160. After the initial accident, at least one of the trucks burst into flames. Paramedics transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospit8al with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is at or near the intersection with Highway 360.
Police are still looking into the accident.
