On or about Thursday, May 19th, 2022, around 12:40 in the afternoon, a major accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer sent a 25-year-old man to the hospital. Representatives from the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported on U.S. Highway 181 in Poth, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the passenger vehicle they were in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances along Highway 181. Emergency responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the collision is at or near the intersection with Westmeyer Street.
Police are still investigating the accident.
