On or about Friday, January 7th, 2022, around 9:30 in the morning, a serious accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer sent at least one person to the hospital. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported in the 12000 block of Highway 183 in Austin, Texas.
Investigators from the Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances. Emergency responders transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries after the accident. Police did not specify which vehicle the victim was in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the southeast side of Austin.
