On or about Tuesday, December 21st, 2021, around 8:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle sent one individual to the hospital. Law enforcement officials said the accident was reported at the intersection of State Highway 19 and Munn Avenue just outside Caldwell, Idaho.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly turned onto Highway 19 from Punn Avenue and into their path. Authorities said the area was covered in dense fog at the time of the accident. Paramedics transported the driver of the car to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 27 miles west of downtown Boise.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
