On or about Wednesday, May 25th, 2022, around 8:30 in the morning, a serious two-vehicle accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left one person injured. Troopers from the NSP said the accident was reported along Highway 23 in Phelps County, Nebraska.
Representatives from the Nebraska State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the passenger vehicle they were in was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer at an intersection along Highway 23. Paramedics airlifted one person in the car to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from Bertrand.
