On or about Wednesday, March 17th, 2021, around 8:00 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and two tractor-trailers sent one person to the hospital. Troopers from the NCHP said the accident was reported along U.S. Highway 264 in Wilson County, North Carolina.
Authorities said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when their pickup truck and two 18-wheelers collided under unspecified circumstances. Paramedics transported the driver of the pickup truck to the hospital with unknown injuries. Both tractor-trailer drivers were uninjured in the crash.
Highway 264 runs east and west through the center of Wilson County, which is about 49 miles east of Raleigh, according to Google Maps.
Officials are still working to determine the cause of the accident.
