On or about Thursday, February 24th, 2022, around 1:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a tractor-trailer and another truck towing a trailer sent one individual to the hospital. Spokespeople from the ISP said the accident was reported along Highway 27 just outside Argyle in Lee County, Iowa.

Representatives from the Iowa State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the tractor-trailer they were driving and another truck towing a trailer collided under unspecified circumstances. After the initial collision, the tractor-trailer jackknifed, while the truck with the trailer flipped. Emergency responders transported the driver of the tractor-trailer to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Argyle, which is roughly 161 miles southeast of Des Moines.

Police are still investigating the accident.
