On or about Saturday, August 21st, 2021, an accident between three tractor-trailer sent at least one person to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 287 and Masterson Road in Amarillo, Texas.
Texas DPS officials said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was airlifted to the hospital after three tractor-trailers collided under unspecified circumstances. Paramedics transported at least one person from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Highway 287 and Masterson Road is situated on the far east side of Amarillo.
Police are still examining the incident.
