On or about Sunday, April 4th, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car sent at least one person to the hospital. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Department said the accident happened on the westbound side of Highway 290 near County Road 362 in Waller, Texas.
Officials from the Texas DPS said at least one individual was flown to the hospital after a car and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified conditions. Officials did not indicate what may have led to the accident, but indicated the car may have been t-boned. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their preliminary report.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance from Buc-ee’s in Waller, which is about 42 miles northwest of downtown Houston.
Police are still investigating the accident.
