On or about Monday, April 18th, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle sent one person to the hospital by helicopter. Officials from the DPS said the accident was reported along Highway 322 in Rusk County, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the vehicle they were in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified conditions. Emergency responders airlifted the driver of the passenger vehicle to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is near Crims Chapel on the north side of Rusk County.
Officials are still investigating the crash.
