On or about Wednesday, March 16th, 2022, around 7:53 in the evening, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle sent one person to the hospital. Authorities from the ASP said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of Highway 43 and Harvill Road in Mount Vernon, Alabama.
Representatives from the Alabama State Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the vehicle they were in and a flatbed tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances at Highway 43 and Harvill Road. Paramedics rushed one person from the car to the hospital with serious injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Mount Vernon is about 30 miles north of Mobile.
Police are still investigating the accident.
