On or about Friday, May 27th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, a serious tractor-trailer accident sent at least one person to the hospital. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 59 in Angelina County, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a tractor-trailer crashed under unspecified circumstances along Highway 59. Paramedics airlifted one person from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries, but police did not specify if they were in the truck, or another unmentioned vehicle.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated in Lufkin.
Police are still investigating the crash.
