On or about Friday, October 30th, 2020, around 1:30 in the morning, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer rollover accident sent a truck driver to the hospital. Department of Public Safety Troopers said the accident happened on Highway 5 just outside Hallsburg, Texas.

Texas DPS said that one as-of-yet unidentified truck driver was injured when the tractor-trailer they were driving rolled off the side of the highway near Tehuacana Creek. First responders transported the truck driver to  Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center to be treated for unspecified injuries.

Officers said that driver fatigue may have played a role in the accident.

Google Streetview shows Highway 6 is four lanes with a wide, grassy median dividing east and westbound traffic. Hallsburg is situated about 14 miles east of Waco.

State and local law enforcement responded to the scene of the crash, which is still under investigation.
