On or about Tuesday, May 25th, 2021, around 3:30 in the afternoon, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer sent one person to the hospital. Officials said the accident was reported along Highway 6 in Spanish Fork, Utah.
Deputies from the Utah County Sheriff’s Office said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when a tractor-trailer and a car collided under unknown conditions. Paramedics airlifted the driver of the car to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured.
According to Google Maps, Highway 6 runs north and south through the southern edge of Spanish Fork, which is about 52 miles south of Salt Lake City.
State and local law enforcement are investigating the crash.
