On or about Saturday, June 18th, 2022, around 9:30 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer sent one person to the hospital. Troopers from the MSP said the accident was reported along Highway 61 in Warren County, Mississippi.
Law enforcement representatives said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly ran a red light and slammed into their vehicle along Highway 61. One person was cut from the wreckage and taken to the hospital. Officials did not mention any other vehicles in their initial statement on the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is at or near the intersection with Pemberton.
Police are still looking into the accident.
