On or about Wednesday, April 13th, 2022, around 7:45 in the evening, an accident between a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer sent one individual to the hospital. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 62 at or near the intersection with Farm-to-Market Road 789 in Lubbock, Texas.
Authorities from the Lubbock Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the motorcycle they were on was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer along Highway 62. Emergency responders transported the driver of the motorcycle to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the far northeast side of Lubbock.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
