On or about Tuesday, June 28th, 2022, around 10:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle sent one person to the hospital. Authorities from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 87 in Deweyville, Texas.
Spokespeople from the Texas DPS said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the car they were in allegedly hit the back of a tractor-trailer along Highway 87. Paramedics transported the driver of the passenger vehicle to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity. Police did not mention any other injuries in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the collision is at or near the intersection with County Road 3075.
Police are still looking into the crash.
