Details:
On or about Monday, December 21st, 2020, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a house sent one person to the hospital. State Troopers said the accident happened at a home just off the side of Highway 111 in Pricetown, North Carolina.
Officers said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when the house they were in was allegedly hit by an 18-wheeler that veered off a curve on State Highway 111. Paramedics transported one person in the home to a nearby hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Authorities did not say if the truck driver was injured, but did indicate they would likely face a citation for Operating Left of Center in connection with the crash.
According to Google Maps, Pricetown is a community in the Indian Springs area, which is situated about 59 miles east of Fayetteville. Highway 111 runs north and south through the area.
Officials are still investigating the incident.
