On or about Sunday, July 4th, 2021, around 6:35 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car sent one person to the hospital. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 15 in Victorville, California.
Officers from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified person was injured when the Chrysler 200 they were in allegedly hit the back of a tractor-trailer that was on the southbound shoulder of I-15. Emergency responders rushed the driver of the car to Loma Linda University Medical Center with unspecified injuries after the accident. The driver of the tractor-trailer was unhurt in the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 15 runs north and south through Victorville, which is situated about 84 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles.
California Highway Patrol assisted local police at the scene of the accident.
