Details:
On or about Friday, January 29th, 2021, around 7:30 in the morning, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck sent one woman to the hospital. Troopers from the DPS said the accident happened on the northbound side of Interstate 35 in Laredo, Texas.
Department of Public Safety Spokespeople said one as-of-yet unidentified 41-year-old woman was injured when her pickup truck and an 18-wheeler collided under unknown conditions. Paramedics transported the woman to Doctors Hospital where she was last reported in critical condition. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the incident.
Texas DPS representatives closed the roadway for several hours in order to tend to the scene of the accident.
Authorities expect to release the findings of their investigation at a later date.
