Details:
On or about Friday, March 4th, 2021, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer rollover sent one person to the hospital. Troopers from the DPS said the accident happened along Interstate 45 in Madisonville, Texas.
Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the 18-wheeler they were driving allegedly experienced a tire blowout. After the blowout, the tractor-trailer lost control and rolled off the side of the roadway. Emergency responders transported the truck driver to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 45 runs north and south through the area, which is about 96 miles north of Houston.
Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office assisted Texas DPS at the scene of the crash.
