On or about Thursday, January 13th, 2022, around 3:15 in the morning, a major accident between a suspected wrong-way driver and a tractor-trailer sent a 26-year-old Bridge City woman to the hospital. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Interstate 10 in Beaumont, Texas.
Authorities from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified 26-year-old woman was injured when the car she was driving allegedly struck a tractor-trailer head-on while driving the wrong direction on Interstate 10. Paramedics transported the driver of the SUV to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
