Details:
On or about Wednesday, July 7th, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a car sent one individual to the hospital. Investigators said the accident was reported along the northbound side of Interstate 15 near Interstate 80 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Police from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the car they were in and an 18-wheeler collided under unspecified conditions. The car became pinned underneath the trailer portion of the tractor-trailer. Paramedics treated the driver of the car for unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 15 runs north and south through the center of Salt Lake City, with the scene of the accident a short distance south of downtown.
Police hope to release the findings of their investigation at a later date.
