On or about Monday, June 6th, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, a major chain-reaction accident with a tractor-trailer sent one individual to the hospital. Authorities from the CSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 25 in El Paso County, Colorado.
Representatives from the Colorado State Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a tractor-trailer and five other vehicles collided in a chain-reaction accident along I-25. Police did not indicate what may have started the chain-reaction off. Emergency responders transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries, but officials did not specify which vehicle they were in at the time of the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Mesa Ridge Parkway.
Police are still investigating.
