On or about Monday, April 19th, 2021, around 4:29 in the morning, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident sent a woman to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident happened on the westbound side of Interstate 30 in Bowie County, Texas.
Texas DPS officials said an as-of-yet unidentified woman was taken to the hospital after the tractor-trailer she was in allegedly crashed into a barrier when the truck experienced a tire blowout. The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured in the crash.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 30 runs east and west through the center of Bowie County, which is about 153 miles northeast of Dallas.
State and local law enforcement assisted at the scene of the accident.
