On or about Tuesday, May 31st, 2022, around 7:00 in the morning, a major accident between a tractor-trailer and an SUV sent one person to the hospital. Officials from the KHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 335 in Shawnee County, Kansas.
Spokespeople from the Kansas Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the SUV they were riding in and a tractor-trailer collided under unknown conditions along I-335. Emergency responders transported a passenger in the SUV to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the crash is on the northbound side of Interstate 335.
Officials are still investigating the crash.
