Details:
On or about Friday, November 15th, 2021, around 3:13 in the afternoon, a serious accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer sent one individual to the hospital. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the southbound side of interstate 35 in New Braunfels, Texas.
Officers from the area said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly jackknifed and struck their car on the southbound side of I-35. Emergency responders transported one person from the scene to a nearby hospital. Police did not mention any other injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 35 runs north and south through the center of new New Braunfels, which is about 32 miles northeast of San Antonio.
Police are still looking into the cause of the crash.
