On or about Thursday, June 16th, 2022, around 2:15 in the morning, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer sent one person to the hospital. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Interstate 35 in San Antonio, Texas.
Officers from the San Antonio Police Department said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the pickup truck they were in allegedly hit the back of a tractor-trailer that had broken down along I-35. Emergency responders transported the driver of the pickup truck to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from Walzem Road.
Authorities are still working to pin down the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
