On or about Wednesday, May 25th, 2022, around 2:00 in the afternoon, a serious single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident sent one person to the hospital. Officials from the CHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 5 in Sacramento, California.
Spokespeople from the California Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the tractor-trailer they were driving allegedly veered off the side of Interstate 5 and crashed off an overpass. Paramedics transported the truck driver to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity stemming from the crash.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is at the exchange with San Juan Road.
Police are still investigating the crash.
