On or about Wednesday, September 1st, 2021, around 7:00 in the morning, an accident between two tractor-trailers and a car sent one individual to the hospital. Troopers from the ISP said the accident occurred along Interstate 64 in Perry County, Indiana.
Officials from the Indiana State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck the back of a car, pinning it against the rear of another 18-wheeler in front. Emergency responders rushed one person from the car to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 64 runs east and west through Perry County, which is about 172 miles south of Indianapolis.
Authorities are still working to pin down the cause of the accident.
