On or about Sunday, February 20th, 2022, around 8:27 in the morning, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle sent one individual to the hospital. Investigators from the CSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 70 just outside De Beque, Colorado.
Officials from the Colorado State Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the vehicle they were in and a tractor-trailer collided under unspecified circumstances while driving on I-70. Emergency responders transported one person in the car to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, Du Beque is about 212 miles west of downtown Denver.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
