On or about Thursday, March 17th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer rollover accident left one person injured. Representatives from the FHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 75 in Gibsonton, Florida.
Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol said one as-of-yet unidentified 27-year-old was injured when the tractor-trailer they were riding in allegedly drove off the side of I-75 and crashed a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics treated a passenger in the tractor-trailer for injuries of an unspecified nature or severity. Authorities did not specify if the passenger was treated at the scene or if they were taken to a nearby hospital. The driver of the tractor-trailer was unhurt in the accident.
