Details:
On or about Friday, January 28th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a semi truck sent one individual to the hospital. Troopers from the FHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 75 in Suwannee County, Florida.
Investigators said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when the tractor-trailer they were driving allegedly hit the back of another semi truck along I-75. Emergency responders transported the driver of the rear tractor-trailer to the hospital with minor injuries stemming from the accident. The driver of the other 18-wheeler was unhurt in the collision.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 75 winds north and south through the northeast corner of Suwanee County, which is roughly 87 miles east of downtown Jacksonville.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
