On or about Tuesday, January 25th, 2022, sometime in the early morning hours, a multi-vehicle pileup accident with several tractor-trailers left one person injured. Deputies from the Utica County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Interstate 80 in Lyman, Wyoming.
Officials from the Wyoming State Police said one as-of-yet unidentified individual was injured when five tractor-trailers collided in a chain-reaction accident along Interstate 80. Police did not specify how the pileup accident may have started off. One occupant in one of the tractor-trailers had to be cut free of the wreckage and was subsequently treated for minor injuries stemming from the crash.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 80 cuts east and west through Lyman, which is located about 120 miles northeast of downtown Salt Lake City.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
