Details:
On or about Sunday, January 31st, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a parked car sent at least one person to the hospital. Officials said the accident happened along Interstate 80 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
Authorities said at least one person was injured when a westbound 18-wheeler allegedly lost control and crossed into the eastbound lanes before it collided with a parked car. Paramedics transported one individual from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. It is not currently clear if any other vehicles were involved.
Google Maps shows Interstate 80 cuts east and west through Mercer County, which is located about 64 miles north of Pittsburgh.
Pennsylvania State Police assisted local authorities at the scene.
